Our Story

Some things are worth slowing down for.

The southern way.

Julian Giraldo began with a small, stubborn idea: that a person is better off with a few good things than a drawer full of forgettable ones. We are a goods house with southern manners, unhurried, considered, and quietly particular about what earns a place. We started with belts, because a belt is honest. It either feels right in the hand or it does not. From there the rule has never changed. Choose well. Keep it long. Let it wear in.

The Idea

Fewer, and better.

Trends move fast and ask to be replaced. We would rather move slowly and not be. Everything we offer is chosen to last, to look better after a year than it did on the first day, and to be the kind of thing you reach for without thinking.

There is no rush here, and there are no corners. That is the whole point.

Materials

Judged in the hand.

Good leather has a feel you cannot fake: a grain that catches the light, an edge that sits clean, a weight that tells you it will hold up. We pay attention to those details, because they are where quality actually lives, not in a label or a logo.

Look after a good piece, a wipe with a dry cloth, the occasional condition, and it will look after you for years.

Selection

A small, chosen edit.

We keep the range tight on purpose. Every piece has to earn its place, which means most things do not make it. What is left is a small, considered edit: pieces that work together, age the same way, and carry the same quiet point of view. Less to choose from, but nothing you would want to send back.

The Southern Way

The South is in no hurry.

We keep our doors in Austin, Texas, and the place has a way of getting into how you work. The South values a thing done well over a thing done fast, a long afternoon over a short cut, and the kind of quality that does not need to announce itself.

We try to hold to that in everything, from the goods we choose to the way we answer an email.

The southern way.

A few good things, kept for a long time. That is all we are really after.
